Susie Cupcakes

This past weekend we celebrated the glorious anniversary of my birth. I took the day off and went to the gym, ran errands, watched Passions, did the dishes, and got ready to parrrr-tay.

Some of my sexxxy friends came over:

And then we went out to dinner at Udupi, where the Cupcakes family is known by name, due to our weekly orders of dahi vada, vegetable utthapam, potato bonda, and aloo gobi. We are called "Alex."

Rebecca ordered a giant soccer ball of bread, and she knows how to work it!

Go girl!

After dinner, we went out for complicated martinis. I ordered a lemon drop. Mmmm!

It was, all in all, a splendid day.

I received beautiful yarn as gifts, so I will introduce each one individually. They are like my newly adopted cats, but less whiny and they don’t smell like tuna.

First, allow me to introduce you to . . .

Laceweight Manos del Uruguay! I didn’t even know they made laceweight! I used their gorgeous red worsted weight yarn to make my mom a tea cozy and it looked beautiful knitted up. Now Rebecca has gifted me with 800 yards of violet yarn. Whatever shall I make?
